PrePaid Standard Satchels
This postage option is generally the most cost effective postage solution when compared to Australia Post standard. These satchels will be delivered within standard delivery times.
PrePaid Express Satchels
If you want quick delivery & reduced postage cost from standard express pricing then this is for you. With express post you will get your parcel quicker and have the added ability to track your item through Australia posts online tracking service. Express post satchels have the additional no extra cost compensation protection of up to $50 for loss or damage during transit.
Australia Post Standard
Standard Post is where your items are posted in an approved postal box not a satchel. This option is the best for items that are more susceptible to damage like bottle & glass products. The total cost of this option is inclusive of the packing & postal charge (determined by weight & postal location). In some cases although a more expensive postal charge is better for item protection against damage in transit. For items like rope, clothing & twines satchels are perfectly suitable.
What about register post cover?
At this stage we do not automatically offer registered post for standard postage. If you require registered post this will be an additional charge and you should contact us previous to placing your order.
What if my parcel is over 20kg?
If your orders total weight is above 20kg we will have to post to you via a delivery courier. This weight is not covered by Australia Post. In cases such as these please contact us with details.
I checked the prepaid satchel prices & some are more expensive?
We have given you the option to include an Australia post liner specifically sized for satchels to add protection to the posted items. As a satchel comes without any protection & is just a thin plastic bag we believe providing products with this protection is extremely important if you are choosing to post with this option. There are some items that do not require liners and are listed below.

Can I choose not to have a liner?

Yes, during checkout when you are given a postal quote you can choose no liner for either size option. However you must remember that if you do so we will not take responsibility for any damage to products in your parcel during transit. This is because you have been given the option & have made the decision yourself to exclude a liner

How long does dispatch take?
We allow up to 24 hours to process paperwork, package & dispatch orders to Australia Post. From this time is when you should start to add any estimated times listed in the map. Please allow for this when determining an estimate on delivery waits. Parcel Lodgement Zone is determined to be “Q3” being Mackay QLD and indicated on the map.
Can I track my parcel?

If you have chosen express post as your postage method then yes you will be able to track your parcel. For standard postage options tracking is not an available feature.

What are the postage costs?
Standard Postage costs are calculated according to Australia Post rates. All prepaid options have packaging included in the price of postage.

Postage costs will vary greatly depending on your international location, the zone it is rated, the weight of the product, whether it be a registered item & how fast you wish to have your order.

Are there any restrictions?
Restrictions pertain to weight and value. Maximum weight by Australia Post is 20kg for a single parcel. We have implemented all the prepaid options with weight limits available, after this the standard postage calculation will only be available. We have checked the prohibited items list and have found none of our products are covered by this list.
Can I track my parcel?

If you have chosen international express post or PrePaid Registered post as your postage choice then yes you will be able to track your parcel. For standard postage options tracking is not an available feature.

How long will it take to receive my parcel?
Delivery time for your parcel can vary greatly. As a minimum anywhere from 5days with express post international or from 10days for Australia Post standard up to 65 days if you have chosen seamail.
Are there any customs documentation?
Yes. The relevant customs declarations will be signed for by a Hemptastic approved representative upon postal lodgment.

Hemptastic postage & delivery times are based on Australia Post recommended. After dispatch we rely soley on Australia Posts service to deliver your parcel and do so in good faith of Australia Posts service standards.

If at any time your parcel is undelivered or becomes “lost in the mail” we take all reasonable measures to locate and deliver your parcel. Under these circumstances as a first measure we will lodged an “Australia Post Investigation” to try and locate your parcel. If after the investigation we still cannot locate your parcel we will negotiate with you a reasonable solution.
